Always rejoice, constantly pray, in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
- 1 Thess. 5: 16-18
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things. Phil. 4:8
Get in the habit of dwelling on only good thoughts. Be thankful instead of fearful. Be positive instead of negative. Be strong instead of weak. If we continue to dwell on what is going on in the world and constantly worry about our own problems, we will lose the joy in life. Remember that “worry” is the absence of faith. Begin each day in the God’s Word and when you start losing faith during the day, run back to the Word. It is much easier to do these days now that we can have a Bible downloaded in our phones. We have so much to be thankful for - dwell on that!
